New update version 1.3.2 is out!


Well, it's about time this finally came out. Sorry it took so long. It was due to procrastination and the needed time for feedback on the changes. Hopefully these should make the game more fun.

Note that this update focuses on making the gameplay a little more challenging as well as responding to criticism. The extra note below contains a spoiler.

The gameplay changes apply specifically to Week 1, but one small change has been done for Week 2 as well.

With that being said, here are the changes:

  • A new High Contrast setting has been added. This is for those who have trouble seeing this game's dark visuals.

  • Po now detects movement purely based on mouse movement instead of room scrolling. To mesh with this, Po's awareness is now less sensitive when she's stalling you(fast heartbeat phase).

  • Po will now instantly kill you if you are in the wrong room when she attacks; you must see where she goes via the cameras and prepare for her arrival.

  • Dipsy will now temporarily break all cameras instead of the one he was in if not dealt with.

  • The Dipsy office cheese has been patched; he'll immediately kill you if he enters the office 3 times.

    • A small tip for dealing with Dipsy: the camera button goes green when he's in that camera, so you don't have to thoroughly search each room. This was always in the game, but some people missed it.

  • The camping Noo-Noo cheese has been patched; the heater system now goes into cooldown if used in the same room twice.

  • The heater system's cooldown now lasts longer.

  • The flashlight power now recharges slower when using the cameras.

  • A new in-game UI has been added to help players remember the flash ability's existence.

  • Announcer in Week 2 now wakes up faster.

  • Fixed an unfair bug where Laa-Laa and Dolor can attack at the same time; Dolor now instantly resets if this moment occurs.

  • Some pre-night tutorials were updated to be more clear and explain the new changes.

  • Fixed a small mistake in Developer's Commentary.

That's all of the changes. Yeah, it's a lot, but you guys have said a lot, and what was said was totally fair. I apologize for those who thought the game was too easy and those who couldn't see the game properly.

Another update might happen later, but I'm not entirely sure yet. Assuming that there are no problems with this update and the game is fine, I'm gonna shift most of my focus towards Redux 2's major update.
