Some wars are not fought with fists and sticks, but with ink and paper.
In the city of “A Place for the Unwilling” the conflict between the working class and the wealthy is everywhere, even in newspapers.
At the start of your adventure, you’ll be introduced to Giles, who sells papers in the rich quarter.

He’ll sell you a copy of the Journal, though he likes doing favors to those he considers influential, so he might just give it away for free.
Each day you will be able to get your hands on a new edition of this paper, which is a great way to read the latest news and track how prices change.

But The Journal also covers events like the upcoming theatre play.
You’ll soon meet Myles, we’ve already talked about that young anarchist who is always trying to change the city. Myles sells a very different paper called the Union.

The first thing one notices about this paper is that big pictures stand out while only a small space is left for text. Given that many people in the poor quarter can’t read properly, the writers of this paper rely on visual language to spread their message.
The first stands for the citizens of the rich quarter, while the second was born in the filthy streets of the poor quarter.
In the 21 days you’ll live in the city you’ll be able to see how these papers evolve and fight each other, so do remember to read the news first thing in the morning before you start doing business and going through your daily meetings.
