The base for the random generator has been done for a while now, but today I finally finished all of the possible rooms in the generator. This game will be very different from other rogue-likes in that the “dungeons” will be much more open and free. You’ll often find yourself in giant open areas that only get bigger as you progress through the game. Tomorrow I’ll port the platform engine I’d been working on into this game, and tweak it to see what works best for this game. I’m excited.
