I won't dig into the full story and characters of this or anything, but hidden in the dark corners of the galaxy, a Sith "Emperor" has been building up forces to take on the current Republic (classic SW stuff)
Underneath him he has several Sith lords, and below them, Sith Assassins. (so a time with multiple sith, pre or post rule of two.)
The place where I really went wild with creative liberty is the concept of Sith Alchemy. Basically, instead of sticking to the cannon sith lightning and um... whatever else they have- (there's that guy in legends who consumed a planet but idk if that was alchemy related)
There are all sorts of powers. Kyber skin, which allows your skin to temporarily absorb the blade of a lightsaber, Force Flame, which is basically fire bending, and the ability to produce venus fly traps out of your body using the force which you can control as additional limbs.
Oddly specific, weird, and totally cool (imo)? Yes!
The Emperor has all of the powers (including the whole consuming life force thing, I just decided it was alchemy for my AU) and will grant an Assassin just one of them (if they can even bring themselves to stand in his presence). Sith Lords get a second power when they graduate, but there's only a few Lords at a time.
For the character herself, Rin is a bit psychotic, and sadistic, but also really cares about her friends and is very passionate about freedom (or at least her idea of it). All of the Sith are seeking power through passion, often anger, and are obviously willing to fight and kill against the Republic and Jedi Order, but I decided that's really the only guarantee.
They can still have their own values, and one of them, Terrafist (Rin's best pal) actually has a really strong warriors code going on. He has Kyber skin as well, and is actually the strongest of the 4 that make up the anti-hero squad.
As for the scene above, this is actually when the full on war breaks out, and a base being run by the imperial side is being taken over by the Republic forces.
I'll leave it there for now, but if for some reason you're really interested in the story I could share more
You all have a great day, and may the 4th be with you!... huh? What do you mean that was days ago???
