Nightshade featured in Two Times skin and in general in azuretime lore is Bittersweet Nightshade, or Solanum Dulcamara in Latin. They come from nightshades family (Solanaceae in Latin), this plant family features both edible and toxic plants, tomatoes, eggplants and potatoes are also nightshades. Returning back to bittersweet nightshades, they're vine-like plants usually 1-2 m high, but can reach up to 4 mif there's support. They originate from Asia, Europe and Northern Africa, but can be found in a lot places around the world. Bittersweet nightshades are poisonous, but u still can touch flowers, though eating them is def not best decision. The most toxic part of this plant are berries, they're bright red and kinda look like small tomatoes. Eatting these berries can lead to vomiting, diarrhea, convulsions, slowed breathing and death. The bittersweet nightshades are less poisonous nightshades type. Despite all that, stem is used to make medicine for skin diseases, including acne. Also bittersweet nightshades are symbol of fidelity, which makes sense with whole spawn cult thing, also they're commonly used in christian art in medieval age. Bittersweet nightshades are often confused with deadly nightshades (other name, Atroppa bella-donna) due to same colour of flowers, but berries are different.
