NIGHTSTARS Update


Hello everyone!
First of all, thank you all for the 1,000 Followers on the page!
I'm glad to see the project getting this much attention, we've been putting a lot of effort into it.

So, what's up with NIGHTSTARS?
Around a month or two ago I made a post about the game entering the "beta testing phase", we are still super close but we need more time.

During development we had made two versions of the game, one developed by @JayferGames (polished, balanced and fair gameplay while also being challenging... but we had no menus, no cutscenes and no "Final Sequence") and a version developed by @MartinArthur (additional visuals which made the game much nicer to look at, we had menus and even the "Final Sequence" included... but the gameplay was a complete mess, it was very broken right from the start).

When we got into beta testing the current version was from Martin, however we soon realised that it might've been better to go back to the original one developed by Jayfer.
Because of this decision we had a small push back, we had to update a few things to improve the game, add the menus and a few visual additions from Martin's version (and work on the "Final Sequence", which is still being developed).

As you can probably tell, the development of this game has been quite messy (there's a lot more to it, but I won't get into it..), but we're still pushing through and we're confident that it'll be worth the wait.

Though, I'd like to remind you all that NIGHTSTARS is a test project, it's a VERY short game despite all the content and effort put into it, so I ask you guys to not get your hopes up for it.

With that being said, this is probably going to be the last post I make before the game's release (I have no release dates in mind, but hopefully it will be ready before June).

NIGHTSTARS came out over a year ago now, that's crazy! Anyway, here's a collection of some BTS/scrapped content. Starting with some footage of the scrapped 5 AM/Vessel "Boss Fight"
