Hey everyone,
So another week has passed and I actually have quite a few things I would like to talk about here today. But first, I would like to say that I'm still looking for Testers to give the game's current demo build another test run. So if you're looking for an early experience of Niravasi or just have some time to kill, feel free to contact me and I'll set you on the path.
Now with that self-promotion out of the way, let's talk about what's been going on behind the scenes with Niravasi.
What's been happening?

"Spooky Medicine."
Like I mentioned in my previous Devlog update, Niravasi is currently in a state where essentially 20% of the game is now complete. The 1st and 2nd levels of the game have been completed, meaning that I'm now comfortable that players who go from start to finish will have a good overall experience of what this game will offer.
However, there are still a few things that need to be sorted out before I feel comfortable releasing the current demo build to the general public. Currently, I am still in talks with StygianWhite (the composer for BLANK) about creating the OST for Niravasi. Unlike that game, this is a commercial release and the process for getting the music sorted out is very different. I have been sitting down and discussing in detail with Styg what I'm envisioning with the OST and how it can be best put to use. This is not only because I want the OST of Niravasi to be quite different from BLANK's, but because I want to be sure that both of us will be comfortable with this business arrangement. I can say positively that things are going very well so far, but that there is still a few little details to discuss further. I am confident, however, that the work he'll bring to this project will be just as amazing (if not even better) than the work he's done for BLANK in the past.
Other than, I have mentioned before that I have been interested in starting a Crowdfunding campaign for the game, mainly to gauge viewer/player awareness of the project. Working on a project like this for around half-a-year now has perhaps dampened my assumption of player interest in the title, so I wanted to be sure that this would be a project that people would be interested in playing/buying. I've had wonderful comments from people that have had the chance to experience the game so far, but I'm always open to any constructive criticism and/or feedback for Niravasi. It worked well during my work on BLANK and it can only do well for a game like Niravasi.
Furthermore, I'm waiting to get everything sorted in regards to the business-side of things. My family's been incredibly supportive and have decided to invest into the project, so now I have taken the decision to create a brand new company for this game. I don't want to make the announcement just yet (I still have to sort out some minor details behind-the-scenes), but I can tell you that it's a pretty catchy and cool company name.
Oh, and there's on last thing I would like to mention. I recently commissioned an artist to make a promotional poster/image for the game's crowdfunding page and they recently came back to me with a sketch-up. It looks absolutely insane and I can't wait to show everyone what it looks when everything's all done-and-dusted.
Anyway, that's all I have to say for this week and I look forward to providing you all more information over the coming weeks. Take care of yourselves and have a lovely day!
Kind regards,
Sangos
