nKaruga version 0.2.4 : more music, new parallax backgrounds, new end-of-demo screen, less (no ?) bugs

Hey everybody,

After a small (big ?) hiatus due to Elevator Game Jam, nKaruga version 0.2.4 is out !

Artist Ibarakuro (check him out on Twitter) is with us today, and has brought us some new juicy graphics : parallax backgrounds for every level (the second level even has two of those !), a gorgeous new “thanks for playing the demo” end screen, and a sick transition for level 2 (programmed by yours truly, as always). Check out nKaruga_dev on Twitter for videos of the aforementioned parallax scrolling backgrounds, and while you’re at it, feel free to follow us to get notified of future updates.

Blvtch aka RGB Music signs the second part of the OST, Trial, and this time has come up with definitive SFX. Finally, it feels so good to have that done !

Let me remind you that this build includes the fully playable levels 1 and 2, as well as the fully killable (try if you dare) bosses 1 and 2. About 99% of the game’s core engine is fully written, and all that is left is relevant to level design, sound design and art.

Enjoy the game, and let me know anything you have to say in the comments !
