all jokes aside, this is what inspired the style fredfred's was going for.

I honestly at first thought this was a joke game from 2020 or something but no, this is an actual 2015 fangame.... life never stops surprising me lol.

Anyways thats why you got png characters right next to 3D ones.

The map layout of fredfred's was also inspired by another fangame that I currently can't find or remember the name of, it was never released but I kept finding its page when I was a kid & would look at the gameplay screenshots.

Fun Fact: Fredfred was even originally going to have been a revival of that fangame but I ended up deciding to make it an original fangame instead while also making the art style different (to the one you see now by taking inspiration from that one fangame I just talked about), dont regret that choice at all as Fredfred turned out great. it's a decent original series I’ve made.

Speaking of Fredfred as a series, I have been thinking of rebooting the series whenever I get to the third game. 

Basically the third game would act as a reboot, you could play it & it would show stuff from the previous games but if you haven't played the 2 previous games you wouldn't miss anything major as it would also act as a standalone game from the way it's set up.

I personally think it would be a really cool idea & work a treat as im starting to feel a little unhappy with how the series is turning out. it's not because it switches from shitpost to serious but more so just how it turned out generally. I still love it, as well as being forever greatful at you guys,

But I just feel like I could’ve done more in specific areas, who knows, this reboot might not even happen but if it does then… idk that would be cool since the ideas I have for it are epic in my opinion
