No updates? Why? (Night 5 Update)


Hey everyone! Squeaks D'Corgeh here, I wanted to give you all an update as to where this game has been, why there's been a lack of updates (5 Months since the last Devlog yeesh).

PolarDread is in a weird point that I go through in basically every game I've ever developed. I call this point the "Home Stretch". I have Nights 1-5, Custom Night, Extras finished. All we need now is a proper finale, endings, and cutscenes.

We don't have an artist for these cutscenes yet, unfortunately. If you think you could maybe help with artwork, you can contact me at Squeaks D'Corgeh#1523 on discord!

Anyways, so, the meat of this post that I wanna talk about: Friday/Night 5.

Night 5 introduces 2 new threats, and is absolute Chaos. I took around 15 attempts in counting in order to finally beat it. It is an absolute NIGHTMARE! Just that nice, lovely PolarDread chaos that people have come to know and love.

I don't have much more to say, I just hope we can deliver on a fun, full game! :)

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.
