Noob writing a game...

As my first post, I would like to introduce my self… I’m you, the beginner guy that though that would be cool be a game developer, with fascination by the profession, the one that still “pursuing the dream…”, what a lame…

If there is something that you can learn from developing a game, even a simple one, is that there is no “simple game”, every game, every mechanics or what ever, have it’s own challenges.
Every simple new feature drive us to trip of new discovery’s, tests with code, mechanics, colors, and so on…

And besides that you also have to pay some bills, keep motivated over all obstacles, try to figuring out what gonna happen if you change some small thing on the game or if you change some priorities on you life to fit this “Indie game developer thing” into you life style.

Some of us are trying to create the dream game, some are looking for some recognition on the community/market or even create some meaningful game that could express it self, and all of those are equally and good.
In my case I’ve been try to create some thing playable, that it, period; I’m probably not the only one there, from my perspective that is the best way to learn and get better at it (game development).

I’m pretty sure that at some point I’ll turn into a professional, though I don’t know when or if I will like it, but by now I am an happy unemployed indie game developer and I have to do my best with it…

If you had read unto here, sorry for you pal, go code something, create a new level for your shit game so it can be a good game…
Next time I will post some thing useful, like, using websocket to control a web game from your smart phone or stuff like this…

See ya..
