Not gonna use Game Maker

The demo’s just there to show how I’m hoping the game will feel/appear, but I can’t be sure, as I’ve completely given up on Game Maker. GM Studio cuts support for things I need, gives totally nonsense error messages, and it’s a b*tch to cross-platform build with due to actually needing to own a copy of the OS you’re building for. I tried Lateral GM, but it’s too unstable at this point, and if I stick with GM8, the game will only be able to run on Windows, unless people are willing to emulate it.

So, I’m just gonna hold off on programming the game until I get XYG Studio’s Squirrel VM running stable, which will take time, since I need to put together bindings for all the C++ functions in the runtime.

But that’s OK, since I still have a lot of resources that need to be made, and I need to buy more art from my artist and revise some of the script for the storyline so that it better connects with the events of KL:Sb.

If anyone’s interested in following development, I’ll be putting XYG up here, but I won’t actually be uploading it until GJ changes their policy and allows non-game software uploads, so for the time being, the page will just be for news.

Thanks for following the game, you four. ^^

Distrust - HUMERUS (with dirty shade) Papyrus isn`t small. It's possible that I didn't draw him well, but he crouched down and bent towards us. I'm still bad at moments like this
