while it was retconned for everyone else, Denei is still considered to be from a parallel timeline! In his timeline, Danie went missing and all they had was a piece of his shirt, so they used what they could, and made...

the closest thing they could...

it wasn't perfect... but it was enough... right?

everyone tried to get used to him, but it was never 'just right'

despite not wanting to, they all hated him, they thought he was ugly, deformed...

a fucking reject.

so, we took him in, and now he lives happily, with friends.

No memory of his past, including the history of the scarf made of the shirt of his 'original'
