November Devlog

Hey everyone, Raymes here! This is technically the first devlog. So I’m going to try and familiarise everyone with the project and show off some more things you can expect from this project! So let’s get started.

Future update from November 2019: This Devlog is super outdated! Almost everything here is different or straight up cut (like devil deals). The onto reason I'm keeping it up is so we can look back at how far the project has come since it's original conception. Go ahead and give it a read, just take everything here with a grain of salt. Thanks :)

Synopsis

You should already know a bit about this already so I’ll be brief and even share a few extra details here and there.

The game is about how a boy named Alex alongside several friends work together to stop an unknown entity from conquering the Earth. The party members also have access to a little thing known as POP. POP has many different variants which each do separate things in battle. POP Blaze for example does damage to every enemy and has a chance to inflict a burn status and POP Shield summons a shield around a character. There’s also a special variant of POP known as DM (Dark Magic) which are acquired from Devil Deals, thats right Devil Deals!

Devil Deals can be found across the world and gives you a more powerful version of a POP. However these come at a price…

Characters

Alex, Phil, Courtney, Clay, Lacy (Left to Right)

These guys should be familiar, along with the first showing of Clay and Lacy’s sprites. (Information on these characters can be found above)

So I think that’s all I have to say for now. The project is still fairly early so I can’t say very much, I can say that there’s still at least 3 characters you’ve yet to see. Anyway, time to talk some business.

Together Alone has been looking for more devs recently, specifically Spriting and Programming. If anyone has any experience and is interested in helping out the project. Let me know!
