Hibana backstory time!
As occasionally mentioned, she's an angel knight. Angels in this world can respawn and do all the dangerous works, protecting others and jobs where normal people might die.
She, like her father, works for the royal family (
) and swore to loyally serve them until her ultimate death.
The dragon she was assigned to slay became her friend, so since she broke that oath she might lose her holiness soon...
