They're three siblings of a shape shifting species I made up! (Like six years ago)

The blue one was born first, but they were very weak and couldn't do anything that the parents had hoped for (impressive shape shifting). so their parents killed them, when they were a couple of months old, sealing them away underground.

Then they had Simon, who was what they were looking for. naturally gifted: his parents put all of their high expectations and love into him.

When they had Rachi, they were disappointed, she was almost as weak as their first. But by this time they regretted killing their first and let Rachi live, still reminding her of how much better her brother is ♥️.
