Hi everyone! I wanna let you all know we're going away for a bit.
Originally I had just planned to post the image included and leave it at that, however, I realized there is quite a bit of you who deserve to know what exactly is going on and all that. It just didn't feel right to ghost you guys like that. I need to give back in return for what you all give us.
We've been pushed to the edge. Unfortunately as of recent Radiance has been having to deal with a tall amount of drama and general hardships that, unfortunately, stack up more and more as the days go by. For the sake of keeping our mental state stable, we feel it's best to cut off the constant posting and direct contact for now. This is to ensure that what's going on doesn't affect our projects and cause permanent damage to the team.
Our team has been forced in headfirst with dealing with false accusations, such as pedophilia, general misconduct, and that's just the surface of it. I can assure you all, none of those claims are true. For that reason, we won't be getting into the details about any of it. We can only assume that this has been thrown out there for the sake of making us look bad, and or taking us off the current track of success that we're on.
It's just come to the point where we feel unwelcome in this community. It makes us think about if we even have a place here anymore. We've even had to deal with petty situations like someone not being let into our Discord, resulting in said person blackmailing and threatening us in return for it. We've even had personal EXTREMELY private photos of certain team members leaked to the public. It's just too much for us to handle. Maybe it's just bad karma for all the trolling (we're not sorry for it) we do... but what we do know is we're game developers, not a session of kick the cow. Enough is enough, at least for now.
Keep in mind though, this is not goodbye, and we're not going anywhere. This break is more or less to help us finish the projects you all follow us for. Oblitus Casa is getting somewhat close to semi-completion and I want to avoid any setbacks or delays. We also are working on several other projects. We need to maintain a steady and healthy work environment if we want to get any of these projects out.
With all that being said, I hope you all can understand why we're doing this, and please don't be mad about it. We do this with you all in mind. The last thing we want is to disappoint you all, or even worse cancel a project. That would be a big boo-boo. Regardless, we thank you all for the support you give as always. We'll see you all hopefully soon.
To ensure that Casa isn't going anywhere, we've included a slight teaser of what's to come with the future. Enjoy!
Bye for now.
