Oh look at that! It's a game update post!


Hey everybody! It's Lightning here. I just wanted to give some updates about the game's current state.

Progress is going pretty well! We are nearly halfway done with Chapter 1. Sprites, music, and coding are going well too! But the progress might slow down a bit. The main reason? High school. Me and Anthony start school in 2 days (as of posting this) so progress might be hindered a bit. Don't worry though! This is a project that we both love dearly and we want to see it become a reality! Keep in mind that the game is still FAR from finished. We cannot give a concrete release at all yet but if I had to guess then the whole game would probably be out by 2024. Maybe 2025. Take this with a grain of salt though. Anyway, that's about it. The Q&A is ongoing, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask! Hopefully, you all have a great day!

End of Year updates

New title screen for The Secrets Within: Retold!

Sorry for the lack of updates. Progress is going smoothly!

The Secrets Within 2 is cancelled.

Remake is being considered.

Since Frostbite won't be in TSW2, I'm thinking about maybe giving him his own spin-off to better explain his world and maybe even add a new ending. Nothing's final yet. Just an idea.

(This project is not my highest priority at the moment because I am working on a game I haven't revealed yet. This game will be released one day.)
