my parents were always kind of racist, they often believed in black people stereotypes (the bad ones), but it wasn't too too bad, it seemed like they didn't realize they were being racist.

Until while we were driving we passed two cars in a car crash, one of them was a black guy and there were 4 other white people and the police officers were investigating. He said "Whatever you do do not believe anything the black guy says" (kind of to himself). He basically automatically thought that the black guy was the driver and caused the crash, and was lying about it. He didn't know anything about the situation. I talked to my mom about it and I'm so glad that she agreed that what he said was wrong, i was worried that she would agree with him.
My respect for him has gone down. Also my biological Dad is black so that explains why he hates him besides my dad having a healthier parenting tactic then him.
