When edd was A Teenager back in 2002 (He was 15 yrs old) he was a trainee under a man who can handle Metal and etc. He was also a mentor to him

His name was Magnetasam (still working on the name)

One day, when they were out in night doing superhero work, they heard a crash going on, they follow the sound and saw cop cars everywhere...

And what they saw from a crash was one alien...

But somehow it looked different??

That's when Edd and Magnetasam Met Ma-Riaa, an Alien half-human that has crashed on the other side of the city...

The situation was out of control, but Edd wanted to calm things down, so he decided to calm the situation with the Alien

And that is when he notice that he his eyes laid on something he never thought would happen...

Meeting someone who can understand him and so he offered help to Ma-Riaa to help her about what is going on...

And throughout the years, they started dating, teaching her about everything on earth, how Maria (Ma-riaa) told Edd about hie she was raised by her Adoptive parents by the country side, they both fell in love, and years later they are both married superheros on the Earth (and edd was able to do this by just being himself that got him an Alien Wife)

And that is basically how the lore goes
