Ok I know that this discourse has probably been dead for years, but the idea that Yo-Kai Watch ripped off Pokémon because both are monster recruiter RPGs is so stupid.
By that logic, Pokémon ripped off Megami Tensei, since the latter game did it first lol

Uhhh you ever just make a lighthearted Sonic.EXE character based on Popee the Performer, and he ends up looking kinda actually creepy because you gave him NES color palette limitations for aesthetics or whatever?
