So the reason this happens is because... Back when Roblox was created, they had a really low budget and only hired inexperienced people for moderation. They were doing well for years until 2020 when Roblox was legally forced to fire them due to the COVID pandemic. That is when they added AI (Artificial Intelligence) as their moderation tool. At first they were using the automated system CommunitySift to moderate messages, usernames, display names.etc. while they were using humans to moderate UGC items. It was going well and Roblox was making a lot of money from this. Until 2022 when a new AI model was released which is more intelligent that made CommunitySift outdated and less powerful. So many false bans of users and UGC items started happening non-stop. Roblox didn't give any updates to the moderation system that year until 2023 when moderation for voice chat had started existing. Still, there were multiple reports of false bans for multiple types of things on Roblox, until 2024.... Where it all began... The larger drama. The chat filter... It was insane. People were getting banned for normal innocent sentences. Or at least... The messages they were typing in were being censored. Some of these reports I've found include people getting banned tor terrorism because of old military assets that when they existed Roblox didn't even have that kind of rule. It still continued as of now in 2025... The reliance they had on text chat and voice chat moderation automation was like... As large as the low taper fade. Larger. That's the story.
