[English]
To begin, it is maybe not cancelled, but it won't be continued in this engine. This is the main reason:
As you may noticed this project is being built in a Clickteam series program, wich is Multimedia Fusion 2. Here I was working with "ini" files to store saved games and data. And you may ask "If you know how to use an "ini" file, why we couldn't save our progress in previous games?" The answer is because I was learning to use them, and my style of game was oriented for arcade propuses, so you wouldn't have to save, having an infinite retry system.
Now what is the deal with Warfare 0. Once I tried to add the "ini" system to the project, it simply didn't work. There are too many files that interfer somehow in the storage processing, and when it is almost ready, data collapses and resets all values I have made, wich was intended for money mechanics in game. The idea was that you, as player, would collect hidden randomized amounts of money in the battlefield, to after scape the city. While having that amount of money, you could buy more items outside the game to then go back into the battle looking for food, materials, etc.
This mechaninc makes sense for the ambient it would be situated. A destroyed goverment wich ends up in anarchy, where the only one you can trust, is yourself. It would be an "Scape from Tarkov", with civilians, protesters, and more.
I've attepmted to fix this at least 50 times while learning how to use "ini".
Now, there is a solution?... Maybe. If all goes well, this year I'll get the opportinity to develop 3d games in a better PC. Meaning that if it is possible, Warfare 0 would be a FPS instead of a Top Down Shooter, and I would have a small team to go on in this.
Now, as I said, this is in a long-period stand by project and It will remain like that until everything mentioned happens.
Good news are: I will make a new minigame in the meantime, like the old days.
Stay tuned.
