Ok. We have MUCH to discuss.
Before any of my words, I have to say that im not very knowing of EVERY part of the lore, such as forgotten man for example. So maybe there are lots of things that ruin my whole thing. But I NEED to say it pubicly.
First, as we see on the image, in the battle with the knight, "The world revolves around you" Can be seen. It should be unnecesary to say is a reference to Jevil. What's special is that ther's nothing like that referencing either Spamton, Gerson or even Eram. For some reason excluding Jevil from the rest.
Second and continuing this theme, The Knight's motif, "The door" is not a very recurrent motif, and is only used to reference... well. The knight. And is not used in many songs... "The door", "Chase", "Black Knife", "The World Revolving"... wait what? Those are the only 4? Oh-oh.
Third, this is probably the least strong if any of the points I thought of. But I still think is interesting that the knight as just the name, is also a medieval character, such as all the chapter 1 references. It was curious right? King, obviously, jester, of course, knight, yyup, now the problem is the queen, who is there, of course, tho is not a card, is a computer, so this point is at your believings.
Fourth point, talking of believes...! Jevil is mostly known for his weird conception of freedom, saying that we are the ones in a jail blah blah blah, saying that he is the only free one. Now. At first sight is obviously fake, like... he is in a jail, he is just crazy. Lets see... Sawn famously says that Jevil's words were "Bizzare and didnt make sense, but didn't make nonsense either." And exactly, at the end of Jevil's fight, he says that the queen will arrive, it did, that the knight would make a fountain, it did, and that a catastrophe is coming. We dont know that for now, but the prophecy says otherwise. So...! He says the truth, but then why did he lie when he said he was the only free one? . . .
What if he *is* right?
What actually negates his words? Ther's nothing that can confirm he is the only one free, but ther's also nothing that says the other, so ironicly, and with all the connections I made with the Knight, it turns into a game of HOPE. Or you believe he is right, or you dont.
Fifth point, this is smaller and less elaborate, but with how religious the game is turning out in theme with Eram and all chapter 4 tbh, I find funny that Jevil, with THAT name, exists.
And last point. This could be either a lost detail or just a meta-reference. But from what we know of secret bosses, they talk of freedom differently, Spamton found whatever the heck was on the phone, probably gaster for the garbage noise, but he doesnt tell anything of the game per se asides from the soul, not even refering to it as a player, same with Gerson, talks about the soul as in "You weren't fighting completly alone though..." but not much more. Jevil tho? He says textually that if your HP drops to 0, you lose. Directly refering as the fight as what it is, a videogame. As said, this could only be a meta-joke. But anyway is worth of saying.
And that's all the points I have that Jevil is way more important that we think, if you have anything that ruin completly everything I written now, feel absolutly free to tell me, I am intrigued to know what you guys think.
