(Note, this is only for educational purposes, not meant to be "TMI" (TMI = too much information) but these can be very serious)
A UTI is a urinary track infection. It is an Infection that happens ANYWHERE in the uterus, such as:
bladder, the most common
Kidney, which can be very serious if not treated.
Urethra, where your Urine/Pee comes out
and Ureters, the tubes that connect your kidneys to your bladder.
Some very common symptoms are:
burning/stinging whilst peeing
Having to use the washroom a lot, even if it's only small amounts.
Lower Abdomen Pain or Pressure.
Cloudy, dark, or smelly pee (can be multiple)
Fatigue and feeling unwell
Fever and Chills, if it spreads to your kidneys.
UTIs are mostly caused by Bacteria spread to the uterus. Often from the skin, or simply Poop making it's way into the urethra and moving up the urinary track. While UTIs can be very serious, it's more common to get a mild one, which you can flush out with tons of water (peeing it out) and meds
