Undertale silver is certainly having the development of all time. I've been far too distracted to work on it and I've not even got a basic idea of what I want for it yet. Sure Toby left us with an ending that Can be used to write a plot however...

How do I continue a plot like this in a world so dedicated to the original cast?

See one of the things that I find so good about newer fangames is the ability to work on a new cast but still feel like Undertale at the same time, for example Undertale yellow.

But for.a concept such as uts it leaves us with a world that is influenced directly by mettaton and... I know I will get backlash for this but

I don't want to work with sans and papyrus!

Look they are great characters but what I hate about so many fangames is that they are the main focus. Like remember Level 9999 sans going to murder you because he can... I DO NOT WANT THAT

I remember the original utg having this problem where sans and papyrus are just kind of there... Of course the game is still good. But I hope they either get rewritten to fit in better or removed entirely in the rework.

Sans and papyrus are mettaton's agent in this ending and will be in this fangane.

I want them to have a minor role and people not going crazy over them. Thank you.

Ok onto mettaton, I would want to write him as toby intended I want him quite an important role and be the main focus of the fangame

Well

1. Mettaton is cool

2. I can make a good character arc out of him

3. He won't have too much screen time like some beloved skeletons in certain fangames.

4. Again it's odd to write a story about mettaton's underground without mettaton even being in the plot...

Right that concludes my rant. I know has been sluggish to say the least but I am quite busy with other projects.
