Okay let's wrap up this "three days of theater masks" so I can move on to the next three days, which ended up being my favorite. The best thing I can say about this one is that it kind of reminds me of the Super Mario Bros. 2 moon. #pixelart #septembit

The penultimate prompt for #Septembit 2024 required combining two previous monsters. I chose to combine my "Plant" pepper with "Ghost" to get...well, a ghost pepper obviously! The flame perspective is a little off, but overall I'm happy with it. #pixelart

This was the last of the smaller canvas prompts. I kind of think this one is a thematic fail. It looks more like television static than anything "abstract". I just didn't have any other ideas. #pixelart #septembit

The "hobby" prompt stumped me. I struggled to come up with an idea for day 24 more than I did actually designing it once the idea came. I had some difficulty getting the layout of the analog sticks right, but overall I think it works. #pixelart #septembit

This week's Fan Art Friday celebrates KPop Demon Hunters! Accept the quest in your quest log to get started.

Yesterday's challenge on the Saultoons Discord was "moonlight". The reflection is a little off. Something on the horizon line would better separate sky from water. Every mistake is a learning opportunity. I still like how it turned out. #pixelart

SQUARE UP 'CAUSE I'M TIRED OF WAITING

I had quite a difficult time getting my ramen monster to work out, but I never wanted to do anything else. I guess it kind of looks less like the ramen is threatening you and more like it's...crocheting at you? Oh well, lol. #pixelart #septembit

#PixelArt challenge on the Saultoons Discord was "Dangerous Mountain". I also used the color palette (superficial35) and the canvas size (92x92) extra challenges. Gave myself one hour. I think I want to practice both mountains and skies a little more.

Challenges on the Saultoons Discord this week: moonstone, moonshadow, and moonlight. Moonshadow was based on an apparently fake piece of folklore that I read. It seems my moonlight reflection is a little off center. Oops! #pixelart
