alright,,, im REALLY locked in rn idk if i can even sleep soon but god trailer earlier was like getting shot but like legit a blessing because some stuff they showed,,,, kind of led me to some plot point transitions i was missing and right now im like MY VISION. Oh my god. separate showtime button backstage away from being seen by customers WHY DIDNT I THINK OF THIS BEFORE?????????this genuinely just solved a minor roadblock i was having in chapter 3 right before something Really Really bad happens lmfao i had the before the during the after but i just didnt HAVE how we went from point A (pur on your suit) to point B (kill babies) but THE BUTTON. THE BUTTON HAS SOLVED EVERYTHING.

along with this.. ohhh vanessa scene really brought my vision for what i have in mind for her in this game.. im turning more evil <3

in technical department i said im focusing on backgrounds for a little bit and ive BEEN slaving away at sprites to see what still does and does not need full blown cutscenes and it's helping out on time a lot, i have literally some of the dopest reference images for some things courtesy of my friend , here's what im working with designing dr. sunshine's basement setup

im trying to check off a list in my brain (and on my phone) of what exactly to do, but i've been doing a fun game to time myself and pretend im in a saw trap and just do what i want to do most as fast as possible at any given time until the timer is over and see what gets done

i've been ever improving the script and dialogue and it's giving me a little giggle im really excited to see the reception of chapter 3 and 5 in particular... i'm almost done overhauling wicked willy's fashionable looks AND they have their expressions , MOST characters now have all their expression sprite sets done as of rn as ive been on that grind

music wise i'm pretty happy but remaking a few tracks in my spare time but now that my awesome friend @MutantFreak has been working on some ambience I think I'm much more satisfied with the state of my soundtrack

im VERY happy with the game page right now with our shiny new dividers.. SIGH <3 and im 100000000 percent satisfied with tboma and tld title screens they feel FINAL this time

towards the end I'm going to make new splash screens at the start of them both (and executioner but dont get me started on that one yet bro thats gonna take a little while) and I figured out some dialogue branching that I hope helps with the choices that matter more early on towards ending stuff, been testing it with a big game changing choice in tld (if you know you know.) and it's beautiful

im so sorry this game has taken so fucking long but I live for the struggle and I'm not gonna stop, the three videos on youtube so far have been keeping me ALIVE when i feel burnt out they genuinely make me so happy lmfao i really do sit there and watch them like WILLIAM ON SCREEN I KNOW THAT GUY OHH MY GOD

i also have a fun new thing to work on soon making lighting screens.. grins. lots of dynamic lighting is necessary and its not very hard since its just a transparent layer but im excited to make some really cool ones to bring more colorful talking scenes to life
