in the yt video where sonic & tails visits mclaren, the mclaren guy asks sonic "remember him?" when showing sonic a senna statue, does this imply sonic knows ayrton...?

even so, does this suggest the fact that classic is older than modern? since in 1993, when that sonic trophy was earned by senna for mclaren, it was (probably) classic CD sonic that witnessed it. with modern possibly remembering it happening, does it suggest that they are the same sonic?? classic=older??

im probably thinking too much abt this it's just a promo video lol- many probably consider classic to be older
