okay, so it's been a few months, but i bring good news.
i do believe there is enough content in a good enough quality now to release a demo of the game. some sprites or text may be placeholders for now, but they'll be changed in the next demo or full game

Some things (mainly interactions that give you an item) may have multiple interactions.
Frame from Max's giant robot cutscene and his battle sprite. All that is left for chapter 1 is a sprite for a particular enemy. This particular cutscene was issablox74's idea, and i think he actually did a good job with it

save files now tell you what chapter you're in because it'll get confusing when it comes to reoccurring areas (such as sticktown) Also black complaining about a waterfall
