So as most of you that follow the game page probably saw already this post from @The_Chief-_ .

And yea there are some main questions that some people might have now that, we like to answer now.

1: Why did we change it to something original?

Well after we changed back then Spring’s to CFW the people that work on that project and Chief and me had the feeling that it didn’t feel like FNAF anymore. This all happened also due to the fact that we always wanted to leave the FNAF community because, we are not a real fan of it anymore.

We wanted to make it more and more original we even scrapped the last two characters that were in the FNAF direction.

2: why not make a different project for that?

We decided that we already do that to do that to CFW because, it will be our biggest project ever. And we don’t want to be just be another team that is then dependent on FNAF (no offense to anyone, everyone of you makes great stuff).

Look it is just frustrating also that we also would be able to upload all chapters here on Gamejolt because, the chapters later on would be to big and it would be just straight up fucking annoying that we would then have to make up to 10 chapters also.

3: For what the lawyers?

The lawyers did we need to make complete sure that we would be able to also get the games on other platforms including Steam and maybe consoles.

They made sure that we didn’t get any lawsuits from Scottgames/Steelwool because of mentioning something from Fnaf or other stuff from Fnaf and so.

They told us that it is possible but, we had to change some things like Arden and Noir and more.

These things aren’t even now a part of the game anymore because we didn’t like them and didn’t also fit anymore to our direction we were going.

4: What happens now to the gamepage if CFW goes to Steam?

The Gamepage will still stay and will not get deleted. We would then just upload here chapter one and the fun mode(more infos in the future).

This means Chapter 1 will be on Steam and Gamejolt but, not the ones that follow up.

5: Will there now be more changes to the game?

Yes. There will be definitely change still stuff but, not main staff like the characters we currently have like Corvus, Nyro, Faye and so on….

They don’t have to get changed because they are original not like Arden and Noir.

6: Will now it cost money?

About this point we aren’t completely sure, Chapter one will definitely not cost anything to see if people even like the game and aren’t after buying disappointed that, they spent money on something they aren’t happy about. We maybe would just make a campaign that you could support us but, we don’t know if we do it right now.

So this is what may could be something you questioned in your mind but, you can ask us more in the comments and we will answer that question.

Look we don’t want to upset anyone but, we also want to go out own path with games and CFW is for us something very important. We don’t want it to be just another fnaf fangame we want to create really something more special with it and me and Chief have the opinion that Fnaf can’t give us anything special. We want to make maybe some merch for it which we wouldn’t be able due to it being a Fnaf fangame.

And yes we know that we might get hate for all this but, we are not going back to where we were before with this project. It is still our decision what we do and we want to try it out with CFW and who knows maybe it will work really.
