OMG an Update

Hello human and non-human gamers of GameJolt! It has been three weeks since my last update and for that I am kind of, but not too, sorry. I have been doing so much work on Vardrik that looking back at my last update I am in shock at the state of the game. It has come so far and is nearly ready to be played! Today I finished the last of the art assets I needed in order to put it all together, so from now on it will be strictly programming (and other non-essential hoo-ha’s).

Unfortunately some things had to be cut from the game because I just didn’t feel that the time to implement them would be worth it in the long run. Oh well.

I’m hoping to upload it on the 19th (the 2nd Month-iversary of development), but if I don’t feel happy with it I may push it back a week.

So I guess that is it.

In other news I have started planning and forming new ideas for my next project, but this will be a HUGE project that I’m estimating to take somewhere between 16-24 months to complete. I won’t say much about it, but think something like Disgaea meets Hearthstone and you’ll be on the right track.

Toodles for now.

Today I tackled drawing different variations of facial expressions for one of the main characters in Eden. What do you think of it? :) Eden: https://gamejolt.com/games/Eden/592698

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.

Out of boredom and curiosity, I coded Sailor Jupiter's Argentine Backbreaker.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
