One Life Platformer Remade-dev blog 1 [ledge grabbing,customization,checkpoints]


I have been working on this game for a while to know that I need to make an update on what to expect in the new remade version of this game. There are many new features that you probably never seen before such as checkpoints,ledge grabbing and even gasp customization? I will be going throught these in this news update.

Ledge Grabbing

In the remade version you can now perform a ledge grab when touching the walls corner.When you are ledge grabbing you can jump off by pressing space or let go by pressing S. It’s pretty cool and it gives you that good old element of surprise on those red enemies.

Customization

In the remade version of this game you will be able.that’s right, customizate your character.Currently you can choose the colors gamemaker studio has ,but hey it’s something right? You people love customazition right?

Checkpoints

In the remade version of the game you now have checkpoints,but wait!One life platformer is supposted to be hard not easy. Adding in checkpoints makes it easier. Why did you add them?
Well…to honestly tell you I added them so you don’t have to restart the room when you die.I don’t see how checkpoints will make the game easier. The game will only get harder.
