ONE_LINE now available as a super-early test build!

Hi there everyone! I am happy to announce that the test build of ONE_LINE is now publicly available! Yes, I’m a bit late, it’s been at least 3 weeks since my last post, but it was my first weeks at college (and my first huge wave of homework). So, pardon me on that.

BUT, here is what I did since my last post:

  • Adjusted the keys hitbox. They are a bit less rage enducing, but they still are, don’t worry! ;)

  • Added a pause menu. Trust me, it took me at least 5 hours to get it working properly.

  • Depending on which class you play on (B, A or S), you won’t have access to a level if you didn’t complete the previous one on a particular speed.

  • Fixed a major part of the bugs.

Also, you can play the game with a mouse, the arrows on the keyboard, a controller or even on mobile devices. All of them were tested, though don’t try to play the browser version of the game available here on mobile. It is simply not playable in some cases. Some devices almost work (like on iPad Air 2), but they have horrible visual artifacts and scaling issues and I cannot do anything for that. Previewing from Construct 2 works fine though, so when the full version will be available, it will not use a browser to play, but a .exe file (and an APK for mobile). That will work for sure.

I have many ideas that I plan to add to the game and I’ll be sure to post an update once I have the time to add them in (because college). So please, post in the comments some of your thoughts, share, follow and rate the game. This will help me improve the game even more. Thank you and I will see you soon!

Demonstration of the spells and their effects :)!

I worked so hard to get all four of them to the end safely, but then...

My D&D art for my family so far (WIP if you couldn't tell)

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
