One of my greatest inspirations, Akira Toriyama, passed away on March 1st.

The entire dragon ball franchise, dragon quest and blue dragon were major inspirations for my artwork and character ideas.

These works were some of the best things my abusive dad ever introduced to me. They got me through a lot of nasty experiences.

I played through dragon quest 9 multiple times, on multiple different cartridges. My main file has over 170-190hrs lovingly dedicated to it.

I don't know where I'd be today without the influence of his amazing works and I hope he's in a better place.

Rest in peace, Akira Toriyama.

You will be dearly missed and your artworks will continue to be praised and loved.
