So, summer has come and gone and our favorite fuzzy bear still has yet to show his face, what happened?
To put it simply, production troubles! The most fun reason for a delay. We won't be discussing specifics, but said troubles set us back almost 2 months, so we weren't quite able to make the summer release window. We sincerely apologize for yet another delay.

That being said, we do come with some good news!
One Week at Just Freddy's is ASSET COMPLETE. All in-game animations, models, and textures are complete and implemented. This includes over 150 animations, over 150 props, and over 350 hand drawn textures.

So, if it's asset complete, what's left? There's some small stuff, a few remaining sound effects, some lighting touch-ups, and the big thing, bug testing and bug fixing. The past couple of weeks of production have largely been ironing the game out,. A loop of playing a ton of it, finding bugs, fixing the bugs, and repeating that process until none remain.
Additionally, while the core game is complete and playable from start to finish, there's a few extras that are still being worked on, namely, a couple of cutscenes, the extras content, and the final trailer.

I know that a delay isn't exactly the news anyone hopes for when waiting for a game, so once again we are sorry for making you wait longer. Rather than promising another release window or date, we are going to make sure we can meet it before saying anything. So please bear with us a little longer!
Leading up to release you can expect some gameplay footage being released on our socials, as well as the final trailer for the game.
