Orange Edition October Update

Good Morning and Happy Halloween

Or I guess good night if you're reading this at night. Orange Edition is being worked on! Slowly! I've been incredibly busy with school lately, so I haven't had as much time to work on Orange Edition. I said I would get the game out before the end of the year, and with two months left, I'm not sure I'll be able to make it. I will try though, I will absolutely try. And this time, I'm gonna have it tested first, thoroughly.

New Sprites
Always new sprites, one million sprites per day, no combat reworks. Ever.

What I'm Talkin' About
What makes orange edition worthwhile? Why do I even work on it? I don't know! I keep asking myself that when I work on it, and then I have a cool idea that I think is unique and I spend 5 days implementing it! So not great time management. So I'm asking, what do YOU want to see in Orange Edition? Do you have ideas that are better than mine?! Probably! Leave them in the comments and I will "heavily" "consider" adding them.

Areas I am working on

Highest priority to lowest:

  • Fishman Cave

  • Snow Mountain (Almost done)

  • Muscle Cave

  • Wally's

  • Bloodmoon Mountain

  • Hollywood

  • Garbage Island

  • EWC

  • Bathouse (Little work has been done on it TBH)

  • Nice Homes

  • RandoLand

And that's all that's left. Minor work in areas that are already done but we're getting near the end now, I think.

Conclusion (Scary)

This is the end, and it's scary on account of the fact it's halloween. Boo! uhhhh, but seriously, thanks for bearing with me here folks. Game development is hard, and a little gay. Expect a trailer soon maybe.

Hey! its been a bit. Still working on the game, but been burnt out on properly getting it done. May ask for help later from people.

in the mean-time, here is a giant list of sprites i've made so far.

dude what the fuck am i doing

In some dialogue scenes, I'll try to use the screen zoom at 200%, emphasizing the characters' emotions and actions. This will also be used occasionally in free-form gameplay (where appropriate, for example, in horror scenes).

I've been meaning to make more standalone teasers like this that aren't part of the monthly updates. This is a new area in the park with some interesting content. Expect to see more soon :)
