When the DreamHack Jam Atlanta was announced, I started my journey of building a team filled with awesome and talented individuals. It was not a hard task as I knew many of these people personally except for Campbell Flood who is a new addition to this family. After we were done building the team I went ahead and made us a very discord server for communication. We kept all ideas there and hoped the theme will come close to our ideas. When the jam started and the theme was announced, we all were super excited. It matched one of our ideas and we had all the resources we needed to pull it off.Our 3D Artists started working on building models , I started working on the core gameplay and AI and our Music producers started researching on the particular theme to make music.
Zahin Adeeb
This was my first time in game development, and it was really exciting! Due to the game jam’s time limitation we had to carefully use our resources so that we can produce enough modular assets to populate the entire scene. I have learnt valuable skills such as teamwork and time management while doing this project. I also learnt many things from my team members which I wasn’t aware of before, and I believe this flow of knowledge between us will help us even more in the future!

While I did some general audio, my focus was on creating the combat music for Outlive. While I was looking to make some EDM in a cyberpunk setting, I wanted to add some of my own style into the music. I also decided on using twelve-tone serialism as a way to create an uncertainty in the track, as the music wanders before finding its place briefly to the menu theme of Outlive. I also threw in some other musical elements to help create a chaotic sound such as tone clusters and polyrhythms, so overall, the piece welcomes the chaos of the battle royale
As the newest member of M7 Productions, I have felt very welcomed in during my time working on Outlive. One would think working essentially across the planet from the rest of the developers on this project would be challenging, but thanks to a lot of all late nights on both ends there was plenty of time to do so. All of their work has looked super impressive to me, given that this is all being done in the week, so I wanted to give it my best as well.
Rafi Milky
This is my second work with M7 Productions and making this game was fun and exciting. This was also my first time working on character modeling and I have to say the team showed alot of support and I am happy with what we have made here.
Muhaimen Zia
When i was “drafted” into the team, I didnt know anyone except Meheraj, and it was quite weird. I never worked on a project where i didn’t know the people before. However, it was really fun working with Campbell making the theme and helping Meheraj with the “insanity” mechanism. Everyone seemed to work hard and were good at what they did, which made me want to work harder.
In the end, seeing the finished product and hearing my theme in the main menu made the all-nighter worth it.

Gamejolt is an alluring platform for the youngsters to prove their skills. It was a golden opportunity to perceive the importance of proper team work, planning, going through the design process in a short span of time. I worked in this game as an environment designer and modeler. I comprehended the importance of team collaboration for a proper planning and was able to finish the project in time. This game is a sort of prototype made in a short period of time but the result seems quite astounding.
