Over Before It Even Began

Hey, all.

So I'm going to be completely honest: as far as becoming a playable game goes, Legendary Bastion is cancelled.

It pretty much comes down to a mix of now not having enough time to properly focus on it, as well as it getting to the point where it would be way too ambitious to try and assemble a platformer/beat-'em-up/rpg hybrid as only one person. Even if I did manage to build it, I imagine it wouldn't live up to whatever expectations people had for it.

So for the sake of my future sanity, I'll be reworking the project into a much less rescource-heavy comic series elsewhere. (Shouldn't be too hard to figure out where that would be.)

I apologize to anyone who was hoping to eventually play this as a complete game. I might upload what playable content there was of the game... but for now, this is where it ends.

'Till next time.

Yeah, we're doing this.

New look, new direction.

It's been a long time coming...

So, Plan B: The remainder of tonight will run V1 of a solo OCN mode, with an updated version coming tomorrow during the end of the con.

(And a further refined public release of this later on. If there's interest.)

First signs of danger.

Me: Man, I really wanted to have something released for the 10th anniversary, but I have nothing ready for it!

Clickteam: *drops trailer for Five Laps at Freddy's*

Me: *Finally remember that I still have a janky ace up my sleeve*

Mini Progress Update: Currently mixing (almost) every element from previous builds and concepts into something that plays to their strengths.

Level itself is about 2/3 complete. I'll prioritize combat after that.

Before we do any new reveals, we should properly introduce our current set. Meet Oscar and Kyrak.

"With all due respect, you can't do this alone."
