Page Update


Hey everyone!

It's been a hot minute since I posted on this page myself, but it made sense to do it now considering the page has just been given its much-needed update.

As you might know, ever since my PC died and I started using a laptop, I've been working with the team to get Bunny Man back to where it was (on my end, anyway), and for the past two or so weeks, it's been going really well. Most of the character models are done at this point, with the missing few being saved for later, this experience has really been fun.


Here, you can see some of what we've been doing. While it is very far from done, having the basic office stuff mostly done and in a bug-free state in just a few weeks is a good sign. The AI and mechanics come next, with some already implemented. (Mechanics, not AI. I have a new system in mind for that.)

The best part? The cameras pan left to right, so that's fun, right?


Now to say some things from my end with spoiling anything:

  • Chica is my favourite animatronic.

  • My favourite camera is the Backstage because of what can happen in there.

  • I already have a favourite human character and I'd describe them to be like Flowey from Undertale, in terms of importance. It's just the question of who...

  • (Redacted), Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica's models were all done on the same day. (Redacted) was started the day before.

  • I already planned to remodel the characters back when the original version still existed. The result of the Hard Drive failure left me to make these new models, which are effectively those remodels I wanted to make before. Not redesigns, just cleaned up models for fun. (I love these ones more!)

  • I have another favourite character who appears in the Office, but she appears later and her original design was so good!

  • Lastly, the Bunny Man's remodel took days because it was sort of hard to get back to Blender after my PC died. I'm over it now, which is why it's easier to model things.

And that about does it for this post. We're getting into this full-swing and I don't think the project has felt or looked better than it has today. I'm very proud of their efforts, even as someone who tends to poke my head in from time to time.

Zeriq will probably make the next devlog when it's time to do so, which will be cool.

Spent about a week modelling a Springtrap while doing other stuff.

I'll probably redo the FNaF 1 gang at some point, since I'm trying to catch up with the models I'd done months ago, starting with the one from before my old PC died.

April Development Log

Haven't posted a model in a while, so here's Zeus from Tales From The Pizzaplex

Fell asleep and now some wacky dog is in my copy of Bunny Man. He is a hungry home invader and he's raided Freddy's refrigerator.

FUN BUNNYMAN DEV. FACT :

lally ALMOST made It to the game as a random event, the other two planned random events ended up becoming character meet ups.

We are considering reusing this random lally event for the Sequel.
