Formerly known as Valoria, Ostravya was a dominant colonial power and a fierce rival to Thelenia. Valoria ruled the southern regions of both Sylvorrenia and New Gehenna, vying for influence and control against Thelenia. The Ostravyan Revolution marked a turning point. After the rebellions in Sylvorrenia and New Gehenna led to their independence, Valoria faced internal upheaval. The House of Aurenhelm was overthrown, and the Melbourne Dynasty was installed as the new royal family, ushering in the era of the Kingdom of Ostravya. The election of its first libertarian political party led to the drafting of a new constitution, rebranding the nation as an Imperialist Libertarian Republic.
