Pato Goes For a Walk Revamped


Hello everyone.

I wasn't as satisfied with the last version of the game, and it wasn't as compatible. That's why I decided to revamp the game, adding new features and using a new engine: ebiten (golang)

The different things in this version are the following:

  • the scrolling camera is not a thing anymore in this version; but I'll learn and implement. :)

  • hats are not here for now.

  • the sign is now on top, not on the map.

    Notice the upper left corner?

  • in the last image you might have noticed a lot of water ponds; that's a new feature: Swimming! The ponds will slow you down, and as the breads will disappear quickly, you shouldn't get on them.

    Look at him go!

  • lastly, the duck's speed has been changed, and he moves faster diagonally rather than horizontally or in the 4 main directions, so you might come up with some strategies for getting bread.

I hope you like this new version of the game as much as I enjoyed creating it! More things and patches are coming up for it, so stay tuned. :)

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.
