Personally, I think a rolling release isn't so bad on Linux under certain conditions, provided the OS has these two features, just like BlendOS: immutable and atomic.


What I love most about rolling releases is that you can keep the same operating system forever—unless, I suppose, updates are needed to keep up with new computer hardware.

Even if Ubuntu isn't working properly, you'll have to download a new ISO once it's no longer supported, just like what happened with Windows 10

But compared to Windows, you don't pay for a license, so Linux Mint is 100% free. While Ubuntu adds subscription-based features, Linux Mint removes them and replaces them with free, open-source alternatives.

I know I've oversimplified and exaggerated certain facts because I want as many users as possible to understand what I mean
