We started A Dragon Named Coal almost 4 years back. At a game jam… and I was making pixel art in Illustrator. With time comes experience and some early characters have got major overhauls.
These are three stages that the Soldier design went through (not the only stages, but the first and most recent plus one from the middle). Revisions to design make a massive difference.
Any other pixel artists here? How has your art improved over time and what tools are you using?
