Pizza Tower is a fast-paced platformer, so, it requires you to be FAST. No matter how much points you get, you should be able to beat the game in 9-12 hours. BUT, what if we added rougelike elements to Pizza Tower? Well, you get Pizza Tower: No Promises!

No Promises (NP) is a Pizza Tower mod takes the formula of Pizza Tower, and turns it into a rougelike. If you don't know what a rougelike is, here's the basics.

Rougelike's spawn you in a randomly chosen area, and you start with nothing. But, as you progress, you get upgrades that impact your gameplay, for better or for worse. And if you die once, you lose everything, and have to start back from the beginning.

So, how does NP apply this into Pizza Tower? First of all,

Now, you may be asking, "What are chips and Mult (C&M)?" Well, let me explain.

Once you enter a level, you will see this on the corner of your screen. The blue one is Chips, and the red one is Mult. Chips increase on how much points you get. Mult is about how much enemies you've killed.

The bar is the amount of points you have before you can leave the level. The Chips and Mult both contribute to this. And you gain a higher amount of points if you keep your combo. Both your Chips and Mult are multiplied by several different multipliers, depending on what your upgrades are (we'll get to the upgrades in a minute) once you drop your combo. The C&M can also get you some cash.

If you perform a cool stunt, or simply just beat a level, chances are, you can get some cash.

There are 100+ upgrades that change your gameplay, ranging from your starting M&C, to your combo time, speed, heck, you can even increase the chances of you getting money. Be careful not to buy too much, otherwise, you'll lose all your money.
