I didn't want to change the plans I had in mind for the update, but it just so happened that things weren't going as smoothly as I wanted them to. The approximate release date for the update is now March 27th, after all I'm making the game myself and I can be understood. The event has not been canceled, it has been postponed for a while, but will be added to the game.
I'll start with bug fixes for the first battle and code simplification. Then I'll deal with the second battle, first I'll make an intro with new sprites and then completely redo the battle for new sprites, fix the player's name, etc, after which I'll deal with the global update that I talked about in 2 devlog.
