Plans for v2.0.0

So the full demo has been out for a few days, and I have been getting some great feedback from people and I have a list of things to implement for the next version. Here are the main items on that list.

  • Graphics Overhaul:
A lot of what people have been saying is that the graphics need work. For the next version, I will up the resolution and add a fullscreen option. I will also improve text font to make it more legible.

  • Stages:
I am going to improve the textures for the background and objects in the first stage as well as adding at least one more stage onto it. The stages will each have a different theme with different mechanics.
-Enemies, Bosses, and Traps (oh my!):
I will greatly improve the boss rooms, with cool intros and health bars and the such, as well as adding several new kinds of enemies and traps, each with a different way to beat them. I think I will add power ups for your fireballs that add more mechanics. As for the traps, I will add many more like fireballs , crumbling platforms and more. As for the spikes, I will definitely make them much more visible.
    UI and more:
I will be implementing HP ups, a pause screen and a title screen as well as much much more.

Thank you everyone for taking interest in my game, updates will be coming. Stay tuned!
-Jack

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
