Today I added a feature I was going to add later down the line after the demo came out, but I decided "what the heck" and just did it now.
I added different playable characters you can choose from before starting a run! Each one of them starts with different stats (stuff like max lives, how many choices you get for picking characters, ect.)
None of these guys play too drastically different than each other, but I plan on adding more wacky ones later down the line. For now, let's get over how these guys work.------------------------------------------------------------------
Michael
He's the basic all-rounder character, nothing special about him but you can't go wrong with him.
- 3 lives
- 1/2 of all characters increase aggression level every night------------------------------------------------------------------
Elizabeth
She's basically the easy mode, starts with more health and characters get aggressive slower. Though, she gets less money.
- 4 lives
- 1/3 of all characters increase aggression level every night
- x0.5 coin multiplier------------------------------------------------------------------
Evan
In contrast to Elizabeth, Evan's the hard mode of the game. He gets more penalties and characters start on a higher difficulty level. Unlike his sister, he gets more money
- 3 lives
- You have to pick penalties two nights in a row
- Characters start on aggression level 3 (max is 5)
- x1.5 coin multiplier------------------------------------------------------------------
Cassidy
Cassidy is a dare-devil character, as in you really have to be daring to play her. She's extremely difficult with not much to balance it out, meant if you want a challenge
- 1 life
- Characters start at their max aggression level
- You have to pick penalties every night
- No shops
- You get to pick from 5 penalties instead of 3------------------------------------------------------------------
Hope this all sounds interesting!
Each of these characters have separate scoreboards for how far you can make it with them, once the demo comes out try to go for crazy night numbers on all of them!
