Played R.E.P.O for the first time and wow... its literally lethal company but better... okay thats rude let me explain myself (click article)

Okay that up there was a joke, I still love lethal company. That comment was a jokey jab at all the people suddenly calling lethal company crap. I get it, this game definately does afew things better than lethal company and I'll get to that.

But some people really be out here saying R.E.P.O is scarier than Lethal company when we're playing as this... like come on guys

Lethal Company is, without a doubt, the scarier game; the enemies are scary, the environments are scary—hell, the whole game is basically scary.

R.E.P.O. is more of a comedy game, and while it does have some scary elements and some scary enemies, the game overall is trying to be fun and lighthearted, with the "scariness" simply being moments of tension from time to time while you play.

Now, I've made it pretty clear that I prefer R.E.P.O. over Lethal Company, despite still loving that game. So, what does R.E.P.O. do right for me?

Well, R.E.P.O. focuses more on teamwork. While Lethal Company does have that sort of thing, you're supposed to run off and do your own thing after a while, which isn't a bad thing! This is where the horror element is used to its advantage, and the feeling of relief and slight comfort when you finally find a living player again after being alone for a while is also really well done.

R.E.P.O., however, does the inverse. In this game, you find yourself always with your group; rarely do you ever spend time alone, and even then, it is very short. Most of the time your all close, if your team does split off, you'll be in groups of two.

How does the game do this? Simple... THE KART!

Okay, there is obviously more that R.E.P.O. does to make the game more team-oriented, but this is by far the best example.

In Lethal Company, you have your own personal inventory; when you find stuff, you can pack it away. R.E.P.O. doesn't have that. You do have an inventory, but it's only for tools like a gun or a melee weapon, etc.

When you find items, you need to place them into the cart. The cart can be moved around like a shopping cart by the players, which is really funny. You'll find yourself moving this cart around the whole map with you, and since it's the only way of transporting the items you need to collect, everyone will stay close and look for stuff together. It's really smart honestly; this one thing already makes you want to stay close with others as you all have the same goal.

Of course, however, there is also more to it than that, as I hinted earlier. Sometimes, highly valuable items are too heavy for you (like a piano) and requires a partner to help carry them around. There are upgrades to get stronger, but you'll usually find someone helping you anyway, which is much safer.

You can also work together to kill the enemies sometimes, either by someone distracting them while you attack, or you both just launch yourselves at them together and hope for the best, lol

Overall, I prefer R.E.P.O. as it encourages more teamwork with your friends & generally lets you spend more time with your friends, it's also just a really good game lol. Again, I love Lethal Company too, but playing with friends can become a bit awkward as you won't be seeing each other much from time to time. Before anyone says it, yes, there are moments in Lethal Company where you do, in fact, use teamwork, such as defeating enemies. However, it's much rarer and not the main focus, unlike R.E.P.O., which, as we have clearly learned, focuses on it a lot. I'm going to play this amazing game again with my friends later today, and I'm looking SUPER forward to it! The game is peak, and I suggest you buy it if you have some friends to play it with!

I got the 80th Ruby Thomas, I thought it looked nice & figured I might as well get it before they stop production & the price goes up, especially since it’s only for Mattel's 80th anniversary. I’ll probably keep him in the box & display him somewhere.

What have I done (there will be more once I get my hands on the showman ones)
