Player Support & Carrier Models Now Available


Players can now jump into the demo battle and take control of any ship! Simply click on the ship you wish to pilot to take control! Use arrow keys or WASD to pilot your ship and fire your weapons with left ctrl or left mouse button (but you cannot control autoturrets yet!) if your ship is destroyed or you want to try another ship, just click it!

Carrier ships are now available in the demo. These giant ships will act as portable spawn points for fighters in the finished build, so your faction can quickly project its power anywhere on the map! For now, their 12 autoturrets and high health are more than a match for any other ship in the demo!

In Other News…

  • I’m still busy reworking the AI in preparation for the addition of the first gamemodes. Its a big task so it may take some time to finish :(.

  • Collision avoidance isn’t currently working too well for the new carrier ships so you may see a few ships getting stuck against them. I’m well aware of the issue and I’m working hard to fix it!

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
